On the Activity of “Dormitory Culture” Held by the Continual Education College

Dormitories are the primary places where students live and study, because of which, their cultural levels represent the spirits and morals of modern undergraduates. In order to go deeper into the activities of promoting dormitory culture in ZhongShan district, the continual college carried out a theme activity of “dormitory culture” around the whole college on the late April for a month.

This activity was carried out according to a series of procedures consisting of steps like: application from dormitories, recommendation from classes, review and check. This activity was held in cooperation with the Office of Student Affairs and the dormitory administration department, who were in charge of the coordination, supervision, examination, final comments etc. Those who were awarded with the honor of “civilized dormitory” would be rewarded and prized and at the same time, dormitories with problems were given suggestions of remedies.

Through this activity, students apartments’ cultural construction, safety management, hygienic style and learning attitude have been promoted, which help students to form good habits of hygiene, rigorous living styles, cooperative team-spirits ,  all of which call can finally assist building up a harmonious campus.
